There are not enough superlatives for Dave. He is absolutely breathtaking. The day he moves on/retires will be one of the saddest days in MCFC's history.

Agreed but I think that's a long while off yet. I believe Silva could play at the same level into his mid 30s. He doesn't rely on pace and if anything, his main attributes (touch, vision and spatial awareness) will improve even more as he gets older. When he does finally leave, I am certain he will be regarded as our best ever player.

After the West Brom game I chucked a sneeky £20 on PFA player of the year. I think he is starting to get the recognition from pundits and opposing fans now telling us what we have already known for years. I think that central position with 2 wide players suits him perfectly and this will be his best season to date in sky blue.
