Same as Aguero, he gets the shit kicked out of his ankles almost every game and the refs do fuck all. You can see that Aguero he gets frustrated and occasionally bites back. The stamp on Sideshow Bob being a prime example. Although Silva isn't averse to extracting a little revenge, his fouls tend to be tactical in nature rather than retaliatory.
Hopefully he'll be back soon, he is at the very heart of everything we do.
 
I understand what goatersnipple is saying and last season that was valid. If Silva didn't play we definitely struggled with invention, however this season we have more pace and are far less pedestrian. Hence the optimism about coping much better without him today than last season. We shall see, everything crossed.
 
Have they said how serious the injury is? Just a knock or is it that recurring ankle problem that usually keeps him out for a few weeks?
 
It's nothing more than discomfort in his ankle. Nothing serious at all just to allay any concerns.
Fighting fit for Juve. :)
 
On inside city he was training normal on Friday with the rest of the group imagine it's just a niggle and saving him for midweek!
