Now it's emerged that the pisscan had the chance to sign Merlin, but decided against it because GPC he didn't believe Spanish Dave's defensive abilities were up to much and signed Bebe instead.

So that's Joe, Kun and now Merlin that baconface apparently turned down.

Such a shame!

Even utd fans I know are shaking their heads at the utter utter shite he's coming out with since his retirement. I hope he continues to open his mouth in public because every time he does he makes himself look stupid.

Depends how bad the sprain is. Anything from 4-12 weeks. I had a badly sprained ankle in Jan this year, and could not believe it when the x-rays showed no break. It's only just now recovered, but I didn't have the luxury of intense private medical care that pro footballers get. I wish David a speedy recovery.
