He looks worried about getting injured again. Not got back into the flow yet.

Whos his boot sponsor?

It seems like ever since he started wearing black boots he's been garbage.

Black boots actually look weird now to me; more used to fluorescent yellow booties on everyone!

Obviously I'm going to defend my friend..
Firstly though I have to say David has given the ball away more times in the last 5 games than in the last 5 years for City.
He has been poor by his standards but that's the thing his standards are exceptionally high so when he is average you notice the difference.
I have no stats but I'm sure KDB has given the ball away more times in those same 5 games.

If you score a goal it apparently masks all the poor stuff you do or don't do in a 90 minute game of football. For example Sergio is far too static & I don't mean since his last injury. Yaya is a centre mid but apparently we shouldn't criticise him for not given defensive cover yet Silva is now being slated for it & he's a no.10.

2 bad pitches at Stoke & Watford not the best after an ankle injury perhaps he could have sat out 1 or both.. He isn't right yet.

One thing is for sure he will be back to his World Class standard very soon.

As for his boots they are to help with his ankle.

When Pep comes you will see who he thinks are his best players quite quickly.. one or two of you will be surprised.
Everyone has a right to an opinion even if that opinion is total bollocks.

No Silva No City

Cheers, Bluwhit. Always good to read what you have to say on the genius that is our David.

A City legend with yet more to come.

Spot on post that.

No one will be more pissed off than the lad himself and he has plenty of credit in the bank to cover the odd poor by his own standards performance.

The Goodison Pitch is bad also. Considering half our games are against Everton this month, maybe we should protect him for the away match on Wednesday?
I can imagine Gareth Barry getting away with a cynical boot to his ankle at Goodison. Hopefully less chance at home.

Everton solid defensively we need Merlin to weave his magic through their defence unfortunately. Hope there is some truth that we will be having a disco next week, as that will help eventually to take some pressure off him.

I get where you are coming from but it's not like anyone is vindictively laying into Silva.

Aguero has got his criticisms, but strikers get goals and goals win you games so it does balance the books a little bit on that front.

Everybody has pointed it Kev hasn't been playing well away from home of late, but it's not always a case of Kev Vs Silva.

Yaya gets booted to high heaven by our support for not sticking with his defensive duties (although they have markedly increased in productivity), Yaya is always called out on this - but the fact is none bar probably Fernandinho and Sagna work hard enough off the ball, the last 4 weeks that includes Silva.

He will be a magician again in no time and yes he's coming back from injury, but with our glaringly bad away form and the fixtures coming thick and fast, it's stood out when he's been a passenger. No shame in that, like I said, everybody takes their portion of the criticism when it's levelled at the team, he will be back to his best shortly.
