That's a bit over the top. He was good, but Sagna and especially Otamendi was better. So was Yaya, and probably DeBryune.
Otamendi, patheticness aside......was superb,Mangala ran him very close though.Yaya and KDB were average at most, certainly no where near their best -in fact Yaya was anonymous for alot of the game.
Eli used his physicality to great effect last night, his awareness and positional sense was also much improved - a top drawer performance.

Nah I am led to believe from some on here he is crap. A good player who needs to work in a sustainable defensive formation and will flourish. Seems Sagna's coaching is working - perhaps make Sagna our defensive coach! Will be me an important player next season when we get rid of this crazy system. Otamendi seems to get away without much criticism and yet in the last 6/7 games think he has looked poor.

I was really worried about the space in behind today, but I though mangala did well nullifying that threat. Still went walkies a couple times, trying to chase down a defender when he didn't need to and then ending up out of position, but much better.

Oto and Mangala were very good last night and didn't give Vardy a sniff. I still think Mangala will make it, particularly given the coaching he will get personally when Pep comes as well as a far more rigorous defensive set up.

a tougher opponent?
Leicester were [last night] (and are, they're just on a good run) a very average, one dimensional football team. How they are where they are is a complete mystery. Stoke Palace and West Ham are all better than Leicester.
