It would not surprise me if he put in some excellent displays. That's the way the cookie seems to crumble for us. The more we spend the more square pegs we seem to get.

I'm gonna judge the lad at the end of this season - if he gets there!

I won't slate the lad for trying mate,he does give 100 %,but so did Michel Vonk,Kit Symons and Steve Howey in years gone by,but it's not good enough for where we are now,again it's not his fault at what price tag he has on his head,but he actually does scare me to death when an attacker runs at him,Distin was good at stretching out his long legs to sometimes rescue a situation,a trait that this fella uses a lot as well,but it don't always come off,got to go for me mate sorry

I also find it incredulous that we still played with a high defensive line in the 2nd half after MDM came on.
Pellers just can't set up a defence to save his life.

Yeah, I thought he did well in the first half. We looked fairly solid defensively until the first goal went in. We certainly got progressively worse when he went off. Hope he's not out for too long.

Sorry, false alarm, I thought these were from the official account but it's a fan run one.

Can't tell if it's today or not though - i reverse image searches the pictures and no old links came up, which is what usually happens when someone posts old photos.

I think the only way Mangala will be here past the summer is if Guardiola comes in and plays Mangala in the Abidal left back role. The two players have very similar attributes.
