It's not so much the tackling with Delph, it's his ability to cover ground quickly and win the second ball. With Fernando pressing and tackling, often by going to ground, we've previously struggled to win those second balls, with it often landing in space, but too far away from Nasri/Sila/Toure. Delph however is quick enough to get there first, which enables us to win back possession much faster and keeps the opposition playing with their backs to our goal. Saw enough today to appreciate he could become a key player in the league; under sung but key.
