Well this is good news...is it even possible to do that with a torn hamstring?

It is (although it's not very bloody comfortable) as long as it's not a fresh high grade tear, your quads and adductors are taking most of the punishment. Running isn't possible though so if you see him on a treadmill he'll be closer to a return.

Here we go. It's amateur physio hour, starring some fella who has a certificate and another who had 'exactly the same injury'.

No
Fabian was 99.9% sure he was going to sign for us as long as six weeks ago. His head has been in a spin this week with the birth of his kid.

On Wednesday, he didn't really know if he was coming or going. With all that was going on his families lives, Fabian fell for the tugging on the heart strings appeals from Villa fans. It was only by the end of Wednesday that Fabian realised he had made a mistake not signing for us and the rest his history.

He is a good guy who looks after his family and friends. He's not been messing is about for the sake of it!

No obv I know he's not messing about and id suppose having a child about to be born his head would of been all over. Hope he's fit soon.

Thank you to all. Will be good to see him back and see what he can do. More thinking defensively which is where we will need him most.

We looked pretty solid during the few minutes we played against Madrid, when he came off it all fell apart. Having both him and Fernandhino running into tackles would be a good option when we need to go into the trenches to get a result.
