As one or two have said, might be time to give him a rest in the near future to make certain he isn't banned for Spurs or ManUre. Tactical yellows, if necessary. With Delph as an easy fill-in, I'd give him a rest against Watford, so that he's available for a hard away game against Palace after the intl break. Then, if he gets another yellow in that game, he needs to sit out WHU at home. If not, then he should play against WHU, as he can't be banned for Spurs.

All that said, he needs to either not play again after the fourth yellow, or take the one game ban for (or before) Bournemouth at home, so the lad is ready to go at The Swamp!
 
Surely has to go down as one of our best ever central midfielders? Every week I am constantly impressed with how he not only does the workload of two midfielders but he is also a goal threat and always there to make the vital interceptions. He may pick up the odd silly yellow card but what a player. Just a shame he is 30 and not 24.
 
Superb today. Broke up Watfords midfield brilliantly and his one touch passing into the likes of Yaya and Merlin was wonderful. Fantastic strike for the goal and well worthy of MOTM.
 
Crucial player for us - classic unsung hero although if he keeps banging in the goals he won't be unsung for much longer
