I'm starting to realise that maybe he is our most important player. He holds EVERYTHING together... on his own sometimes. What a beast.

I'd agree, we'd have won last night if he'd been allowed to go on the front foot rather than covering for his under-performing teammates the entire game.

I said in our title winning seasons he's our most important player. God knows why he didn't start as much last season, he's a machine.
 
He has taken on the unsung hero mantle from Gaz Baz. Luckily our fans are intelligent enough to realise how important he is to the team. Best 30 million we ever spent.
 
need more midfielders like him, would be useful especially for CL. shame he isn't couple of years younger..

He was superb today, in the first half he was like a man amongst boys, and comfortably our best player, clearly Sergio deserves MoM scoring 5 times, but Fernandhino's performance was excellent, he really is a very good player, and he's capable of even better than today, there isn't much that he can't do.
