Managed to get through today without being booked, for a change, but would like to see him carry the ball forward more when Toure drops so deep against such defences. Think there's more to his game offensively than we get to see, but not sure if he lacks confidence in that part of his play, or if the management insists that he prioritise sitting and sweeping.

If you take care of your body, there should be no reason to see any decline in your physical status at the age of 30 unless you of course got a serious injury.

Tell it to Wooney.

I don't think it's a lack of confidence, i think it's him not trusting Yaya to hold the fort and taking responsibility to be that shield. It's brilliantly selfless play from him. It's no surprise we see him be a bit more adventurous when Fernando is alongside him. In my eyes he can fill the attacking void that would be left from dropping Yaya. Not in the same controlling way as yaya but he offers excellent energy, and has the skill technique and intelligence to back it up. He's been crucial to us since signing and we've never really seen the best of him.
