If we had a standard recall option i think we'd of brought him back on new years day. You'd imagine we can still sort something out with Galatasaray if there isn't a recall clause and bring him back but it will cost us quite a bit. Still would be the best option given our squad quota and the need for anybody coming in to be homegrown.

If there is no option to cancel the loan, its an absolute fuck up. Vinny has been having fitness problems for a while, demi is old, mangala was poor last season and ota is new to the league. Its hardly unimaginable that we could have possibly been in an even deeper hole defensively than we currently are, so to have a ready made replacement for vinny and not have an option to bring him back is incompetent at best. If one of those had broken their leg, we would have to go out and buy another defender, therefore pushing denayer even further back when he does return, none of it makes any fucking sense tbh.

I'd love him back, aswell as being a CB I reckon he'd be a better option in Midfield than Fernando or Delph, has fantastic vision and dribbling

I'm one of Pellegrini's biggest critics, i've wanted him gone for the last 12 months. however. i wouldn't place any blame on him for this situation. Nobody could of predicted Kompany would turn into Ledley King and to a lesser extent, MDM's sudden demise. At the time it was the right decision to send him out on loan and also, i suspect it was a club decision more than pellegrini's sole decision.
At least Ledley King played most weeks.
