I only watched Neuer against Barca last season, and within about 20 minutes he was beaten at his near post, nutmegged and chipped in his own six yard box. Imagine if joe had done that (albeit it it was against Messi!!)

Also, a royal fuck up at the Emirates two weeks ago, where he charged out to a setpiece in a Cabellero-esque manner.

Neuer makes mistakes, as do all goalkeepers. People rate Neuer so highly because of the way the sweeper role he plays. He still makes mistakes and he's also in a side that keep the ball so well his job is quite clear and obvious. Any ball over the top he generally knows he has to clear. He's a top keeper and you have to say he's the best in the world at the moment but he still makes the occasional error. Hart has kept us in so many games. His save late on made up for the earlier cock up. Fortunately we got away with this one, but he has kept us in games, and won us games before and he's a great role model to have at the club being England's no.1 keeper.
He surely does make mistakes including a very important one at Arsenal a couple of weeks ago ( although some may blame the high defensive line). Stick with Joe. Keep the faith!!

I can't believe it hasn't been mentioned how important Joe was yet again. After they got within one Joe made an amazing save on a corner and kept City ahead. If that had gone in it could have been a completely different match. Between today and the penalty save earlier he's been massive in the CL.

Yeah that was an amazing save. He could've done a bit better for their goal though, but I wouldn't call it an error. And I agree that he's been phenomenal this season.

I would agree with that, don't quite know why he came off his line for their goal but an excellent save as well.

Weak punch from a corner on 40 minutes that he should have caught ( as per) - set Swansea up for a good chance.
Was beaten at his near post for their equalizer.
Was at fault for their disallowed goal.
Made some vital saves.
