Thought at one time that he had become a bit arrogant and too big for his boots but have completely changed my mind. The way he reacted to being dropped after his poor patch in 13/14 showed the measure of the man. Even without Kompany's injury problems I'd have Joe as captain.

Guardiola will be in for a shock after Neuer whom he used as a deep CB sometimes in his high line tactics, not mentioning the great kicking skills Neuer had he sometimes sets up attacks with perfect long balls.

You must have missed the class attacks Hart has set up when he kicks it long to Sterling or Navas. His kicking is fine.

Don't post on here very often but attend every game home and away.

Have had a few days to think on the Arsenal result, I was there and I've watched the highlights/analysis etc.

I'm sorry to say that this isn't the first time I personally feel Joe Hart has let us down. The Walcott goal was a great strike don't get me wrong but Joe wasn't even close to it he could've stuck it in the middle of the goal practically and Hart wouldn't have got there. The second goal is completely inexcusable for a top quality goalkeeper, to be beaten at your near post through your legs nonetheless is something you don't see the world class goalkeepers suffer.

He has had some good games for us don't get me wrong and he has saved us on a couple of occasions, but he just isn't consistent enough for me. He has very little to do for most of our home games but still gets beaten far too often. The defence can be blamed aswell in this but when the back line is breached Joe is more often than not beaten. On top of this his kicking is some of the worst I've seen from any goalkeeper never mind the premier league.

I fear that we have all been brainwashed by the hype that surrounds him from English football fans. We are so desperate to have a good English goalkeeper than we've turned hart into this deity that can't do wrong. If he were French, German etc I don't think he would have got away with the amount of poor keeping he has. Because of this we will most probably be stuck with him for the next 10 years.

As I've mentioned he hasn't consistently been bad but he's not been consistently good enough for the ambitions we have as a club now.

Silva, David Silva, he scored the 5th goal at Old Trafford (through a World Class goalkeepers legs...)

Great 1st save for their goal..unlucky borini had a decent finish for the rebound

One of the worlds best at 1-on-1s. Scratch that, the best IMO. His long distribution continues to rapidly improve and, if a certain manager joins, I think he'll have plenty more options for a quick bowl-out to start attacks.

I agree with kenzie115 that he should be made captain.
