A lot is made of his kicking, but be honest who can he kick to? All our forward players get dwarfed by defenders - Aguero, Silva, Navas, Nasri. I wouldn't swap him for anyone a True Blue and top keeper and long may it be so.
IMO criticising Joe's kicking isn't a criticism that should be aimed at Joe, surely the staff should be aware that up top we are tiny, so instead of asking everyone to move up and have Joe hoof it, someone should be dropping in short and playing it out from the back?

Quite right, his kicking isn't bad at all, it's just average. Sagna offers an outlet a lot, other than he he's relying on the oppositions forwards to drop off the CBs for a short option.

With Cech .He's back in the lead for clean sheets this season with 10. Which frankly is amazing with the state our defending was in.

Yesterday that resulted in Palace winning possession three times in dangerous areas.
And then of course he kicked the ball against a Palace players back and they almost scored from the rebound.

Don't want Butland as Hart's successor, last thing we need is another arrogant keeper. Handanovic would be a great signing.
