I'm not having all of this 'managing him perfectly' bollocks. He quite simply doesn't believe in him as much as nearly every City fan on here does. Pellegrini knows he isn't here for the long haul so he has no intention of blooding the younger players when can use experienced ones.

It only looks like he is managing him well because Nacho still manages to either score or create good openings for others in the limited amount of time he is on the pitch.

"He is a very young player, it is very difficult for me to tell what his future is" doesn't exactly smack with confidence nor does completely ignoring him when complaining about a lack of striking options.

This is why we need our number one choice of manager in, because he will have a long term vision and that will probably include using from the academy.

Pellegrini is no different than Mancini in terms of youth development. Though you can say Mancini never had the luxury of exciting young players, such as Lopes, Denayer and Kelechi.

I swear if he doesn't get a run of games in the league now...lad is pure class
Don't make another young talent leave the club
Why would he get a run of games? Kun will play on Saturday and we shouldn't start playing two up front again.

He's still learning his trade. There's no need to throw him in the deep end when we can bring him along at the right pace without putting too much pressure on his shoulders. He's already shown he's got an eye for a goal and his movement seems to be very good for a young lad. He's also a bit rash with the ball and makes the wrong decisions every now and then - which is entirely expected at this stage of his career.
I don't see any problems with how he's being managed so far and I'm sure that whilst he'll want to play as much as possible he understands the process he's going through.
He can be a huge part of our future success if he stays on the path he's on right now. I think next year will be his break out season and the rest of Europe will see what we've seen in him for the last couple of years.

Or perhaps he's just a backwards dinosaur.
Ha, you may well be proved right mate. I just suspect that kelechi is being managed to keep his feet on the ground and introduced gradually. Only time will tell if it's right. Whatever, I think we both agree he is a fantastic talent and hopefully will have a great future with us.

If the likes of Soriano and Txiki thought he was ready, he'd be playing. He is the poster boy for the CFA and if he was ready or they thought he should be being used better Pellegrini would be told.
Pellegrini is Head Coach. There is no doubt that he has his instructions.

If Pellgrini was a pragmatic coach then maybe he'd keep Iheanacho back, as Pellegrini's flaw is dedication to fun attacking football I'm sure he'd love Kelechi in.

Sticking with Bony doesn't really reflect any other aspect of his management.

Iheanacho is getting games and will get more. He's still very young. Everyone can see his class, he needs to be managed well, so far he is.
