Neither KI or WB are adequate back ups for Aguero. We need another striker in January, there's a useful Bosnian lad at Roma apparently.
From what I read, Dzeko is hardly pulling up trees in Italy. Bony and Dzeko are equally as shit as each other.

This is another symptom of the Pellegrini problem. He doesn't encourage competition within the squad. Bony will play of Aguero is out. Doesn't matter that he is shit. He has seniority. The team needs to be picked based on merit. Honestly, if mangala is out again I would pick Humphries ahead of demichelis.

Pellegrini employs "Buggin's turn" in a more extreme way than any manager I can remember.

He'd probably still have Lampard, A.Cole, Gerrard et al, playing for England if he was in charge

Maybe the policy that determines who starts in Aguero's absence, namely the pecking order, does not bring out the best in KI and WB. We could do with some competition at this stage,

Maybe he just thinks Bony is a better player than Nacho and thinks that with a run of about 20 games in 6 weeks coming up then getting our second choice striker firing and fit is something that we should probably try to do?

The thing with our system is that both Kelechi and Bony could score 2/3 a game in Aguero's absence but as soon as he's fit they are back on the bench (and rightly so btw)

There are only so many players who can come in and out the side and pick up where they left off, Bony and Kelechi aren't, like Dzeko they need games to get back into the groove.
