Player Topic: Kevin De Bruyne (2015/16)

What is Kevin's favourite position ?. - Not a wum - just want to know. How would we accomodate him if all players were fit.?
Assuming these players were available - Hart , Zab/Sagna , Vinny , Otto ,Kolorov , Fern 1 , Yaya , Delph ,Fern 2 , Navas , Merlin , KdB , Aguero

I think it's the Yaya role in today's formation. The more he is involved in the game, the more chances we get.
But, 4 goals and 6 assists in 10 PL starts means he is not doing a bad job in the wide positions.

Kevin de Bruyne has scored or assisted nine goals in six Premier League appearances for Man City at the Etihad (three goals, six assists).

Since the start of last season, Kevin de Bruyne has made more assists than any other player in Europe's too five leagues (26 assists).

Some players are worth pursuing and paying what it costs to get them. It bodes really well for our future, shows that the club knows who to get and the resiliance to make it happen, and he is a future City captain Im sure

Like most of the team, after the opening half an hour he was quiet. But, as Kompany said when we signed him, he can be doing nothing and then win a game.

Hopefully his general possession play improves because if it does he'll be right up there with the very best on the planet

so much more to come from the KDB when he gets fully used to our game,and eventually slips into a more central midfield role.
Never seen a player like him before. the two goals at sunderland and spurs away where he threaded the ball thru the eye of a needle at the keepers near post were both outrageous pieces of skill.sublime....and not injury prone,nor work shy.what a player.

That pass for Bony was just brilliant. Inch perfect and deserved someone on the end of it who could stay onside and not trip over his feet whilst blasting it 20 yards wide of the post.

agree with your summation of kdb's attributes, he certainly isnt work shy, can pass really well, finishing is great, and i think he can play a few roles behind the striker, that's one of the reasons he will be a problem for opposition defences/midfields in the future, and he shows a maturity that others dont have while playing, that assist to kolorov for his goal was a perfect example, yeah id buy into kdb as future captain, when the old guard have been wittered away

well clearly the choice is his, but he does show a touch of maturity on the pitch, and that is a captain's attribute. An attribute we don't always see when kompany doesnt play
