Wouldn,t want to burden the lad, personally, with any other command other than " go out and play Kev"
Lets just nurture him, manage his game time( being the worlds leading international team player is demanding when added to the prem,LC,FAC,and chumps league) advise him on dealing with the media spotlight and help not to put any undue pressure on the lad...he says himself he is not interested in the spotlight,already shows maturity beyond his years by playing down his role /ability,so lets follow the lead indicated by this top signing,and not weigh him down by OTT posts on BM.....oops.

its alright, its ok to shout it loud and clear, we have signed one of the best footballers in the world/planet.
so much more to come from the KDB when he gets fully used to our game,and eventually slips into a more central midfield role.
Never seen a player like him before. the two goals at sunderland and spurs away where he threaded the ball thru the eye of a needle at the keepers near post were both outrageous pieces of skill.sublime....and not injury prone,nor work shy.what a player.

KDB had a good start to his city career but calling him our best player is an insult to a player like Silva who has done it year in year out for city.
 
Fans who would seriously prefer KDB to be a player who is constantly "involved" and holds possessions fail to understand his role in the team. He's not a Silva, constantly probing, stretching, controlling. His whole game - the high-risk, high-win passes, the vision, the amazing shot - is based on creating a few moments of genius. And football is a game where you just need a few moments of genius per match to win.

It's not really a slight on Silva though is it mate. You're absolutely right that Silva's done it year in and year out - but he's also coming up to his 30th birthday. The squad will evolve and our heroes will be replaced with new heroes. Right now, I'd go along with Denis's assertion that KDB is on form, our best player full stop. Might well be that when DS gets fit and firing he's pushing KDB for that mantle. This would be a good thing. We're so fucking lucky to have the amount of quality we do in our squad. Since they all belong to us it's not a competition as to who is better. They're all the best.

I appreciate what you are saying Billy, but in form Silva is the best player in the premier league. Judging by the reception he got last night after being out for 7 weeks I would suggest that almost every fan feels the same way.

It isn't a popularity contest mate. That's sort of my point. We don't need to say "he's better" one way or the other. We can appreciate them both and if someone thinks that De Bruyne is a better player than Silva or someone thinks Silva's better than De Bruyne, that's cool. They're both amazing talents. We have them both. Happy days.
 
We have two of the very best playmakers in world football in Silva and De Bruyne, both offer us a completely different skillset and variety of options. I can't wait to see them two and Aguero together more often (injuries permitting). If it clicks and we get the rest of the team organised and balanced defensively we've got the ability to beat anyone on our day.

The likes of Sterling, Roberts and Barker couldn't be in any better position to learn and hopefully they will step up to their level eventually.
 
He's brilliant, and when I go to the ground he's worth the cost of my season ticket alone. It's a privilege to watch him. His passing, movement and ability with both feet is ridiculously good.
