He's had no shortage of highlight reel moments though?
Well nothing spectacular though for a non-fan. Apart from the goal against Newcastle, which was considered a fluke and was overshadowed by Aguero, most of his impact gets undersated in highlights (in part due to a lot of his created chances being wasted)

So very excited to see the front four we've been waiting for. Might we field it vs. Stoke?

As for this debate about who is better, who cares? Silva and De Bruyne are both world class and I'm sure that when we're fully fit we will get to see their brilliance regularly. I think we'll see a lot of play where Silva assists De Bruyne or makes the key pass to De Bruyne who records the assist. It should be a joy to watch nonetheless.

His stats are amazing but imagine what they could be if Bony and Aguero find their shooting boots. He could already have an extra 5 assists so far with us if it wasn't for poor finishing. Bony at the weekend and Navas against Palace are two that stand out.

He could easily end up with 25+ assists this season in all comps.

Yeah expectations are high huh for Kev. Realisticly he should provide 1 assist and bang in 1 goal per match, because he can, and because he can do more even on a good day, that is to say when you have a player that is as productive as KDB people start to count on it, and any less than 1 goal and an assist is going to be seen as a weaker game for him, even if he still gets a goal or assist. Because he has to provide for 2 goals. Because ... millions of reasons?

Surely i don't think Kev cares much about these expectations, i think he's quite happy at city and feeling at home or fitting in in the system and with the players, and i'm sure he gets his deserved credit by his peers. As to the media, plenty of BS in the media, i'm sure that football players are aware of that, and while the media is not always wrong i'm sure KEV can nuancate given his own reflections on his performance which so far has been great and on the same line as where he left with Wolfsburg, him being a proffesional i'm sure he can see these things in the right perspective

I'd push Silva wider to let KDB play at 10. He is our best chance to either score or get an assist. While Silva dictates play stunningly he doesn't make as many key passes as De bruyne and he doesn't score as often.
What? Silva doesn't make many key passes? Come on share what ever you are smoking.
