Fucking lol, Marv. You kill me.

Do you sit there and think of the most random crap to post? ;-)
I agreed with the MOTD2 comments about De Bruyne. He's not replacing Silva or Sterling or Aguero so he'll play where Navas plays in the short term, and I'd be surprised if he's more effective in that position.

Yikes Marv, much as I like Navas, KDB is the player to complete that front 4. He, Sterling and Silva are going to interchange so much it will make opposing defences heads spin.

de Bruynes final ball is going to create havoc. And chances. And goals. Giddy to see those 4 line up for the first time, hopefully at Palace.

You don't think De Bruyne will contribute towards more than 11 goals this season?

Typical that the transfer would get confirmed on a day when i've had fuck all internet access. Top signing. Will give us a much more direct attacking threat than people realise, and as importantly, can play as a central playmaker ala Yaya if necessary. Think his transfer fee will prove to be a snip in the seasons to come. Really delighted. Oh and strangely enough buzzing to have another Belgian amongst our squad. Spent a lot of time there working and know loads of them. Good people who love City cuz of Vinny and I'm guessing are going to love us even more now we've added KDB.

He'll play where Navas plays full stop and he'll be a lot more productive doing so.

I feel we see KDB as a long-term player. At his current age, I think he will be deployed at as an attacking midfielder but I could certainly see him being an out-and-out deep-lying playmaker 6/7 years down the line ala Xabi Alonso. His passing range, vision, technique and shooting ability certainly makes him capable of such a role IMO.
Agreed.. Nevertheless it gives us tons of flexibility.. The last game against Watford is a good example of why we need flexibility to unlock teams that park the bus

Hey guys, first post. My knowledge and understanding of football isn't great but it is improving. So if I say something stupid please don't lynch me. I like positive, attacking football, not to mention goals, so naturally I was drawn to Man City.

What are your opinions on playing him instead of Yaya? He's a lot more mobile, faster etc. Him in there with Aguero, Silva, Sterling and Navas would be electric.

I see him as the long term replacement for Yaya

This...for the doubters. Feel free to hang your head in shame in your own time. We'll still be waitin'...

Yep, Sterling was a waste of money as well. So much so that we/re languishing at the top of the table. I hope we carry on making huge mistakes like this.
