I'd add to that the fact that as a unit we look fractured and unsettled. Is he known to unsettle dressing rooms? I don't know I'm just asking but something is clearly wrong.

Ill speculate for my part that it is the size of his third leg. Ever since KDB has entered the showerrooms there was no place for other players and so they all began to stink.

Flemish, you have a great line in Belgo-Mancunian sardonic humour. I'm enjoying your posts.

Holy frack a compliment? Im trying to climb back into my throne as we speak. Thx i suppose, gotto say i came here for the Banter didn't expect to outdo the locals though.

Sorry to anyone with Flemish or De Bruyne in your name, but how much more evidence do we need that we're a better, more balanced side without KDB in it?

We won the first 5 games playing football from the gods without conceding a goal. The pace of Navas and Sterling on the wing, and the guile of Silva in the middle picking them out.

We've played well for a whole 90 minutes once since we bought De Bruyne, Sevilla away, when he didn't play.

He's a hugely talented player, but sometimes you have to sacrifice one of your best players in order to have the best team. Italy didn't try to play Totti and Del Piero at the same time, and they won the World Cup.

De Bruyne's stats at City are really impressive. But a load of goals and assists in 5-0 routs at home to Newcastle or Bournmouth isn't going to win us the league. We need to get back to being a balanced football team with a clear structure, game plan and pattern of play. Just like we were in the first 5 games.

The last few months we are resembling the very worst of Real Madrid; playing our 11 biggest stars as opposed to the best, most balanced team.
As always mate a suberb post.

We should sell him to united. He's a lame duck. He will fit in perfectly.

Sell him to Leicester i'd say. They are so poor its lopsiding the competition, they need be given some expensive shit to bring them down. Also possibly recupurate's some cash on the clothing merchandise, less to change in terms of color and letters.

One thing is certain, he's a hider when it comes to defending, going back towards his own goal, indifferent.

It's more pronounced away from home, where the opposition are expected to dictate the flow.

Different shades of grey, but it's the same for Silva and Yaya.

The correct and early move last night should have been to hook Yaya for Navas, push De Bruyne inside, see if that worked and alternate that option with Silva. Bringing Fernando on to bolster Delph and Fernandinho.

Thanks mate, much appreciated. I just hope the manager is starting to analyse why we've played well once in 3 months. We can't keep making the same mistakes.

He needs to pick a balanced team, one we know that works. Without question the one that has worked best is the one we played in the first 5 games.

If we go back to that, become more balanced, more cohesive as a unit, we're more likely to win a few games on the bounce. That's when confidence increases and we can start introducing the likes of De Bruyne as and when he is needed.

As impressive as De Bruyne's stats are, surely the performance of the whole team as a unit is more important.
