Lovely player when it's going well but never attempts to put in a tackle or pressure the man with the ball. He's the new Robinho, as I've already said, and will be gone after a year under Pep unless he bucks his ideas up.
That's an interesting view PB, not one I totally agree with, well not the Robinho comment anyway, but you do have a point.

What annoys me, and its not just KdB, is that our attacking players don't defend from the front, when you watch the best teams, their forwards defend in their bit of the pitch.

Time and again tonight KdB was a few yards away from an Everton player who was starting an attack, and he stood and watched. However while Sterling does it less, he still does it too often, Aguero did it really well at Norwich, but tonight he's back to watching, Silva did it tonight, but doesn't always, Bony never does it, Iheanacho does it, but looks a bit headless chicken when doing it, exuberance of youth.

This is why Pep coming in will be a radical change, some will adapt, and from what I've seen of KdB, he did defend for Wolfsburg more than here, so I don't think he'll be gone, its going to be interesting to watch us morph into a different team, with many of the same players.

He was having a poor game by his standard and Pelle should have subbed him off after 60 minutes and given Dave a bit longer to try and work his magic.

I thought he should have come off at HT and to be honest he should miss the next game with Silva back in. I have a feeling he won't though and Navas will make way again.

Silva slows us down far too much. Won't blame KDB as he's evidently in need of a rest.
Haha! Your man was shite last night. Silva showed more in his 20 minute cameo where he didn't slow us down at all than KDB did in his 70.
Another one who has shot his load to quick in regards to DeBruyne and now has to try and stick to the narrative he's the best and silva isn't - even though evidence very much suggests otherwise.

11 goals and 10 assists in his first season shows me all I need to know. I know that David is able to play shite for weeks on here because he's "coming back from injury".

He's been average in about 3 out of 6 games since returning from injury. I'm sure he knows that - in fact he does because I saw an interview where he acknowledges it himself. The fact is he was like a breath of fresh air when he came on last night. Didn't slow us down and it was the most dangerous we looked all game.
Hopefully KDB will be back firing the next game.

He's been awful in every single game, shirking responsibility onto his teammates. De Bruyne to me looks exhausted as he's not been given a proper rest all season.

I'm sure he came back from injury against Southampton in a 3-1 win where he played ok then followed by a moTM performance against Hull in the cup. He was poor against Stoke then ok again against Gladbach befor being a bit hit and miss in the league games since then.
Saying he's been awful is disingenuous and reeks of somebody putting their eggs in one basket.

KDB is a brilliant player, but had a poor game last night. For me, he should have come off at half time as nothing was going for him, and wasn't going to.

For me Merlin should have been on a lot earlier.
