I was thinking the same thing until it was mentioned that juve was up next. Do you roll with navas going into juve if we win again or do you punish navas now and get kdb affiliated with the squad and start him? Do you sub kdb in at 70 and then start him at juve? Or do just keep using him as a sub for a few games? You could argue for every point. Brutal spot for mp.

His last game he way beyond gash. He works hard but just lacks a final product. KDB will take his spot without doubt.

I think Navas has had a 'decent' start to the season, but he had again flattered to deceive. When he has time to beat a man or whip a cross in he has still picked the wrong option too often. For me De Bruyne has to come straight in.

I think De Bruyne will probably start against Palace, although Nasri must also be in contention after a good 45 minutes against Watford.

It's not a question of "punishing" anybody. Navas hasn't done anything wrong to be punished for. The only issue with Navas is that, quite often, there seems to be no end product. You'll see him one on one with the opposing FB, and you're screaming "TAKE HIM ON", but he doesn't do it. And also, sometimes his crossing is pretty poor. As a manager, you make changes that you think will benefit the team. As has been mentioned already this season, having Navas and Sterling in the side is stretching opposition defences, allowing more room in central positions for Merlin and Yaya to have a major influence. But the thinking seems to be a straight swap; KDB in for Navas. He had very impressive stats last season in the Bundesliga (player of the year as well, I think). Yes, it's a difficult decision for Pellegrini. But I bet it's a problem every other manager in the PL would love to have.

I think De Bruyne will be eased back in by sub no doubt. Navas has played well this season, as has Nasri but over the two Nasri provides the final ball.

Depends if we see sulky Nasri or one who wants to be part of this world class squad ric? I like Sammy but would he start ahead of sterling, de Bruyne or silva at the minute?
