well done on the goal KDB but israel's wall and goalie werent exactly made of stern stuff..... good goal and assist tho, top player

You've got some nice FK specialists now. I remember Drogba hitting a few like that - side foot, straight up & down, but I'm not sure he had them dip that much. Imagine being a keeper setting your wall up, wondering which one of Kolarov/Toure/KDB is gonna strike.

Really hope Kev keeps up his intensity and self belief. I'd been wondering if it was the remnants of his ruthlessly efficient German training, which might slowly evaporate to meet a slightly more lethargic City level, but it looks more and more like he has that inner drive to be the absolute best player he can be. Cracking signing.

Are you suggesting that City's training is less intense than Wolfsburg's?

I think based on recent International results - (Argentina lost to Chile and drew with Paraguay and Germany lost to Ireland and beat Georgia 2-1) that Belgium are now the highest ranked nation in FIFA's World Rankings... a great achievement and it will now put pressure of the so called "Golden Generation" to live up to their ranking and perform at the tournament next summer. With Kompany, Denayer and De Bruyne all in the squad it's going to be a great experience for them and should help them cope with expectations at City as well.

The Rankings don't really mean too much obviously but they will be released at the start of November and may influence the Group draw at the Euro's, England are up to 9th currently (though Friendlies will impact that), they're the 5th highest ranked European side.

I am hoping come 5 pm on 16th April, that KDB will have banged a couple in the net and Maureen will rue the moment he let 'the flop' go. I think he is fantastic and will only get better.

Belgium will be #1 in the next FIFA rankings

And KDB is the best player in that team

Feels good he's at City. Never thought he was this good.

If Robbie Savage says he wouldnt pay to see KDB play then thats good enough for me. Hes shit and a waste of money.

KDB will get better and better, my prediction is even shearer will be purring. something to record after his 'fluke goal
' statement

FROM MEN:

Injury worry
The City ace revealed he picked up a knock during Belgium's final match of the Euro 2016 qualifiers against Israel.
Luckily the injury wasn't too serious and he managed to run it off during the match - hopefully that's the end of it then!
“You had the music, the fireworks and Vincent leading the singing afterwards, it was not a normal night. It is something very special to be ranked No.1 in the world,” De Bruyne told the Star.

“It clearly means that as a team you are working in a good way and winning a lot of games, and that is the goal we have been trying to achieve.
“I did get a knock in the first half but that can happen and luckily I ran it off or I would not have got to be involved in the goals.
“It does hurt a little bit but it really wasn’t that bad so I’m fine.”
