Switching to the attack is one of his main qualities. It's also the one doubt I have about his move to City : City tend to play short passes to push up the field, while De Bruyne plays much more direct. He loves to go from defence to creating a chance in one or two passes. Aguero en Sterling will love his range of passing and throughballs though.

Have you seen us play this season? We've been playing brilliantly on the counter. It only gives us more options, we can still play the tippy tappy stuff, but are also lethal on the break.

I hold my hands up I slated him a few weeks back saying I've not seen him have a good game, although that's not much. Yes it's only one game but he really impressed me last night. To be able to turn and hit a shot like that with power and accuracy. He looks like one of them players who would be a nightmare for the opposition to pick up. And the thing which impressed me most was his work rate stopped at least 3 counter attacks, never seen him ambling back once. Also every single corner was on point, so im hoping pellers will be working on this in training because that could be an extra 10 goals this season. Which I'm sure they will be doing.

Only saw the first game live, the rest on MOTD. In the first game I thought the buildup was pretty slow. If the counterattacks were more present in the next games, all the better for KDB.

You'll never complain about his workrate. Together with his workrate, his offensive movement is excellent. Always finds a bit of space.

Having NEVER seen him play (I was watching Wales last night) apart from a couple of youtube highlight reels...He looks so young and scrawny...Do you think he will be ok with the physicality of the PL?
The bundesliga isn't exactly pat a cake, but I think he will be fine. Silva and Hazard cope with it (even though Silva regularly gets lumps kicked out of him)
