"Formed" is a bit too much credit for Gent. De Bruyne only stayed at Gent until his fourteenth. Then he went to Genk where he became a real prospect, becoming champion is his first year as a first-team-regular.

Watching that again, I don't think that last subtle touch was planned or a fluke, I think he realised that it was going to hit the defender's foot and adjusted to put it between his legs.

You might say that I'm choosing to see it but 99% of the time that trick doesn't involve that final touch. Plus Kev's speed of thought has been pretty evident so far.
