Still one of the first names on the team sheet for me
Remind me... How many goals have both scored this season?Any worse than the £44 m player on the other wing ?
Still one of the first names on the team sheet for me
Immaculate first touch and retains possession well, but he's so lightweight and limited it isn't true. He's also got a very angular and upright technique, and seems to hit everything slightly out of his instep, even when he's trying to put his laces through it. Why the fuck we let him take corners I do not know as that particular technique of his sees every delivery whipped way too far away from goal, so Otters and Kompany have to try and head balls whilst moving back towards the edge of the area and can't generate any power as a result. Useful player off the bench to stretch tired teams, but he's powderpuff in every other regard. What is it now? 2 goals in 3 years? Unacceptable
I watch him closely most games and he is far better than people give him credit for, stretches the defence, covers the fullback brilliantly, never gives possession away in dangerous areas, his finishing is poor but crossing he gets undue stick, when you have one small striker in the box and 8 defenders his options are nil, so he hits it low to the near post. You would think some of our dumb fuck players might try making a run there.
If I was ota or kompany I might try coming from deeper on the crosses if your analogy is true
How about to the guy Sanga crossed to, plum on his head against Watford (Aguero I think is his name)? Once in three years would be nice. In fact to beat the first man and put the central defenders under pressure would als be nice...Who the fuck does he pass the ball when we no one shows up inside the box in a good position?
He didn't have a good game today (who did?), but the truth is that he is one of City's best attacking players.which I'm sorry to say, doesn't say much fior the rest.
Has there ever been a player in the Premier League who's inability to actually get a cross into the box been so obvious? He has the ball with the full back five yards away, so does he cross? No he goes right up to the defender, attempts to then skip past him then gets his cross blocked for a corner (which he then wastes).
As poor as Navas was today when did we pile attackers into the box and where were these lung busting runs you speak of?Pisses me off the number of times we've piled attackers into the box, they're screaming for it, the midfielders have all done their trademark lung-busting runs to get in to the box too, and daft Jesus just turns and plays the safe ball back to his full-back or gives it inside to Yaya once he's caught-up with the play.

Once the ball goes wide to Navas they all fall back into defensive positions and don't bother wasting their breath with a lung busting run into the box as they know that's the last place the ball will end up.... Stands to reason, I wouldnt bust a gut to get in thereAs poor as Navas was today when did we pile attackers into the box and where were these lung busting runs you speak of?
You will be the first one to slag him when kun can't get the ball. How about to the guy Sanga crossed to, plum on his head against Watford (Aguero I think is his name)? Once in three years would be nice. In fact to beat the first man and put the central defenders under pressure would als be nice...
Interestingly, the half time positional graph on the feed I was watching showed that Jesus was further forward in the opponents half during the half than Kun and that other striker, what's his name? Begins with B I think? Will hopefully follow pellegrini out the door.offers no attacking threat whatsoever far too often
