Similar to his debut, he finds it a bit difficult with the intricate passing in tight spaces. When he has space though...
First time we've had a left sided player who can turn Ivanovic inside out.
His speed is very useful when he has to run all the way back and cover for Kolarov.
All the players need to improve, when you cant improve anymore ...its time to stop.Needs to improve his passing.
Pace and control. That's what Kolo needed in front of him. Kolo must be buzzing right now only having to do the work of one player rather than 2.He's made such massive difference going forward and defensively! Kolarov hasn't been exposed and Chelsea were shit scared of him today. Excellent start to the season

I think he is actually very good in tight spaces but you could tell he was afraid of taking on his man directly and losing the ball. He hasn't shown that before so I think we can put that down to it being Chelsea and him not wanting to give away a quick counter. He may have even received instructions to keep it simple and just draw out the defenders befor tracking back of necessary. He is an intelligent footballer so I imagine he is able to execute those types of tactical requests very well.Yes he does. But he has some great qualities. Better in open space.
Definitely, must be happy not having to always deal with a 2 on 1. He's looked revitalised.
The more Sterling plays, the greater affinity he will have with Merlin and Kolarov and it's already looking decent!
