He's not even out of 3rd gear yet..... The benefit to the team is already there for all to see, however, when he learns to go for the jugular, like all top players, he could be one of the most dangerous players in the league, to go with the other 3 we already have.....

20 years old..... Scary how good he already is!!!!
 
He hasn't hit the heights yet and needs to tighten up his passing a bit but he is a threat, the opposition know that and it creates space for our other maestro's to exploit.

He will prove to be a great signing for us.
 
Ivanovic wont forget today that is for sure. Sterling gave him a torrid time. Played well once again today and will only get better.
 
He looks a bit overawed tbh, but his mere presence give defenders nightmares and creates space for Silva. Once he's settled properly he will be immense.

i dont think its a case of being overawed. i think its a case of the whole team finding a pattern of play that suits all. the whole league at the moment doesnt know what his effect will be on our performances and to a certain degree our team dont know either, this early in the season.

i do know that his presence today affected chelsea in a negative way and city in a positive way, and that is the effect we wanted. as he settles in he will be a crucial player, BUT he must keep scaring defenses and making a clear contribution otherwise the fear factor for teams will lessen.

thats what 49m does though, so he must accept it and show what he can do.
 
Made a huge difference to our team without been the star man, gives toure and silva so much more space to play as teams can't push up against us because of his pace! Kolarov also looks a different player now with sterling in front of him, his delivery today was the absolutely quality
 
Already made a big improvement on his debut performance but still looks nervous, also must be strange for him to play in a team where ball retention is a must, unlike Liverpool.

His passing will improve and tighten up in time.

A bit harsh,under Rodgers Liverpool have been a good footballing side.
