Surprised by the grief he gets from City fans. Been a threat almost every game we've played in even if he doesn't score/assist. Could hear fans around me getting angry at him at half-time & have no doubt there'll have been plenty on here too, yet he'd seemed by far our biggest threat even at 45 minutes to me.
Heavily involved in all 4 goals today, scored 2 himself, set one up beautifully & his flick to Kolarov for the 4th wasn't half bad either.
Would some people rather have another Navas? Consistent, works hard, doesn't give the ball away much, tracks back - but offers nothing in attack.
Understand frustration at missed chances etc. but seems so obvious what he brings to the table for me. I'd rather have an unpredictable threat who may miss chances & make poor decisions, than someone who'll consistently be average with little to no threat.
