10 goals and 6 assists by December. Great stats for a 21 year old winger, the myth that he has no end product can well and truly be put to bed.

Should have got a penalty today, plus a good headed goal. Another good game from young Raheem.
9 goals is it not.

Not sure I agree with that mate. I don't think it was a penalty (although you see them given), but don't think it was a dive either. A yellow card seemed harsh to me. It wasn't simulation as there was clearly contact, but would've said it was soft if given against us.

I don't really get this view though. It could be said that Raheem was likely to lose the ball to the next defender after taking that last touch but the fact is that he had his legs taken from under him.

If that happened anywhere else on the pitch and we didn't get a free kick for it, I'd be pretty incensed. Just like if that was the other way around and Sunderland won a penalty, I would have no complaints other than with Otamendi or Mangala for making such a rash tackle.

Played well again. Very rare sight to not see him being a threat, he's raw & can make simple mistakes at time, but more than makes up for that by the danger he brings & his stats for the half-way point of the season are fantastic for a 21 year old (or any age really).

Say it fairly regularly but I'd rather have someone like him whose going to frustrate at times but then score and assist a whole bunch of goals, than someone whose going to be solid and clean but with no end product.

He's done great so far for us & will continue to grow, love his passion when he scores too - if he keeps his head in the game he'll be great for us for years.

Massive twat my arse. On this occasion it was a pen, as it was last week v Arse. As I said somewhere else, he has a reputation which the ref today bought. However, I'm a Blue, and on first sight today I thought he dived, but only because I've seen him go over far too easily when playing for us. I can't stand it when our players do it, as I think we're above it, but it's creeping in (Yaya's v Arse was fucking shocking). I for one still think at times Sterling goes over too easily, which is a shame as he doesn't need to. Hopefully he'll learn from players like Aguero, and staying on your feet has positives.
See all I took from what I've just said is because he has a rep for diving (which I personally disagree with) you thought he dived when in fact probably 80% of the fouls on raheem aren't given( case and point 2 pens in 2 games) not cos he dives but because he dared to walk away from the mighty Liverpool for man city and all of our oil money etc! Same as all of the silly **** fans of opposition teams who boo him like it ever made a difference to them that he left Liverpool.
If it was all about reputation then catamole would have been sent off today but he wasn't even booked.

My point being you didn't come on to say I thought he dived in this specific instance but more that your sick of him diving like he's Ashley fucking young! If you can't be arsed to watch the games properly then don't comment.

He really looks like he loves it here too!

Actually starting to think he's best centrally. Silva's our best player and our best no.10 but when Sterling's buzzing around centrally making runs off and beyond the front man rather than being predictable out wide it gives Silva and KDB more options other than the usual pass out wide and try and work an intricate passing move around the edge of the box.

I personally think the LFC media have created this reputation that has existed for no more than five months... and they wonder why Bale left Britain.

Raheem Sterling reputation for diving? Jaysus, some people...

Looking like he's developing well. Keep it up lad! Happy.
