Definitely one of his better games for us last night, can't fault his work rate and desire to get back and defend. That tackle on Fuchs I think it was in the second half which they got a free kick from 35 yards or so out was never ever a foul, it was excellent tracking back and Sterling took the ball cleanly.
Again though where he fell down for me was his decision making on the ball in the final third. Apart from when he had the obvious choice to make i.e. shoot when through on goal, he dilly dailied a few times which resulted in us losing possession in a good position.
When there's defenders in front of him he seems to struggle. If the pass to Kolarov on the overlap isn't on, Sterling doesn't seem to have it in him to take a player on for the most part.
There was once in the second half where we (Sterling) had the ball just inside the Leicester 18 yard box towards the byline, the defender came at him and Sterling turned away and ran towards the corner flag before losing possession.
I'm not asking him to be a world beater, just to use some initiative at times. He's better without the ball than he is with it in a lot of situations.
Edit - I should point out he still contributed more than Silva and Aguero and in the first half more than De Bruyne.
