Player Topic: Raheem Sterling (2015/16)

Sterlings work rate and application was outstanding last night. This was typified best by the incident when our attack broke down on the edge of the box. The TV cameras saw sterling pointing and then running back half the length of the pitch and absolutely nailing the Leicester player fairly. Have to say that pleased me just as much as what we get from him attacking. He will be a star for city and we are lucky to have him.
 
Very good player who will become a great player - loved his commitment to the cause last night and defences are scared stiff of his pace.
 
Over the Xmas fixtures its no surprise that he has been 1 of our better players. He just wants to play and play as much as he can. No point in resting him in the form that he is in looks like theres a goal in him. So unlucky with his shot in the first half that Kasper saved another day it would of went in. Think he will cause Watford lots of problems in the game on Saturday. 5 league goals already 3 assits so far just think with the better players all back these stats will get higher and higher. At times his final pass or cross can be a bit iffy but its getting better and better as the season goes on.
 
Often the last thing he does, whether it be a pass a cross a shot or a dive, is the worst thing he does. But had a good first half last night and overall had a decent game, if not a bit quiet second half.

A lot to improve on but he is improving.
