You clearly fail to see how he transforms the way we play -the ability to transfer the ball from defence to attack in an instant, something that was so badly missing last season. Yes he makes bad decisions but he's a baby-he was superb tonight.

Agreed.....apart from the last 4 words, because they simply aren't true. In terms of end product tonight he was desperately poor. It's not heresy to say so. The good news is, as you correctly state, he transforms the way we play and he will only get better

Bollocks.

He's slotted in to the team so well. We're MILES better with him in the team. Like I say, the best 20 year old in the world.

As for end product, he's now 2 off Navas City career goal tally.

He's also our joint leading scorer ;)
Fucking hell you're post is as bad as the ones riding him. He is not the best 20 year old in the world. That's a ridiculous statement. He's been ok so far. Not great, not bad. He's young and he's in a new team.

Still not as his best yet, but pretty reassuring that he still managed a goal and an assist (maybe two?).

Great to see us have genuine pace in the side, and we're going to be a frightening prospect once him and Aguero find their form this season.

Hopefully tonight will do his confidence good. Had a poor start but when KDB started playing him in he had a lot more joy. Would have been tempted to give him a game or 2 to take stock s his form waned the last week against west ham and juventus but hopefully the goal will do him good

This is all so weird....

Sterling plays the first 4 games. Helps change the way we play & makes us more of a threat going forward due to his pace and movement. Looks good. We win all 4 without conceding.

Plays against Juve and misses a couple of chances and now he's suddenly shit? Have I missed something here? We instantly looked worse going forward against Juve & West Hame when he was taken off due to the way he plays the game.

I'm so confused right now.

He gives us something totally different and there is clearly an untapped potential, that we will have the benefit of as he gets older and playing with better players.

In my opinion I don't think he had the best game overall but it's hard to defend that statement when he scored one, assisted one and forced the own goal.

Who's said he's shit? Maybe that's where you've got confused. Not a single person has said that.
