Waste of space when played on the left. Trouble is that he has played his best when central but he is nowhere near as good as silva. I'd give him a go centrally for the next two games and then when silva us back I'd give him a break and bring him on later in games. I see him as an impact player for us at the moment.

I think th fact he had to keep helping kolarov defend effected him in attack
Certainly don't believe his sub was the right move KDB was worse when he went out that side
To be fair the rags blocked off our wings exceptionally. Without Silva it was our only outlet and Raheem and co found it tough.

i personally would have brought toure off and shifted Sterling centrally and De Bruyne left, Navas right, but i think our attacking intent had fizzled out by then. he was pretty dross going forward like the entire team but i did notice a couple of occasions when he covered very well for Kolarov, so credit there

don`t know weather it has been mentioned already and maybe its his first touch issue but it seems that for a player of such pace he always seems to cut back whenever we have a counter attack on. Just seems to slow it up and allow the opposition to regroup. Hopefully this is an issue of inexperience.

partly experience but think of pacey wingers such as Lennon and Young (haha, English theme going here) and Martial and many others, many do tend to cut inside. You have to remember they are playing top full backs as well who's job it is to show them inside to a covering midfielder.

He's 20, he's clearly struggling to adapt to a new style of playing but thankfully he's scored enough goals and tread water just enough to keep the press off his back.

On a more positive note he seems to have a very good attitude and given his age I have no doubt he will work on the parts of his game that we need him to, and we will probably be looking at a different Sterling by the end of the season.
