Yes he was injured. Pellegrini was not pleased. Nasri then went to Kelechi to swap positions. Not sure if the decision came from the bench but I doubt it because he was really struggling so he made that decision himself, which I thought was right to do. Nasri went central and was never comfortable with his movement.

I still believe he is a good squad player. he's just in this mad rough patch at the moment. he struggles to be match fit because he has gained some weight, due to injury or off field events it's hard to tell when a professional athlete decide to just let go. He needs to be worked on with diet and tailored training. We can afford a 2-3 months of him off the squad because I rather we nurse him back to fitness as he is a true fit to how we play, than buy someone and take the risk of them not matching our play at all. He scored several vital goals and assists in the past and have taken a wage cut for the cause of the club. He is 'in the moment' where he has 'lost his smile'.

Very good assessment and agree. he is a bloody good player when on form.

Samir nasri has had enough chances to really show his potential but i think we will let him go .For a player who is 28 and supposed to be in his prime he is behind two younger players in KdB and sterling in the pecking order.
Will be better for the team if his place is given to some of our younger players like brandan barker , kelechi and roberts .
Still a good player under the puppy fat but i don't he will improve here and its best for all if he moved .

i still think he has great quality but is looking more and more like he is moving to the fringes, more like he doesnt feel part of a unit. basically, city are preparing nasri, the squad and the fans for a simple outward transfer next summer, i think this will be his last season.
