He said tendon not ligament which is even more worrying in a way. Also agree that 4/5 months out will be a huge blow. Gives us a decision to make in the CL squad in Jan.

That's very bad for Samir. Wish him all the best because even if he doesn't carry on at City he's good enough to go and play at plenty of other top clubs across Europe. Will be a shame if something like that effectively finished his top level career.

Nasri's time here is still up. He's not realistically going to have an epiphany and wind the clock back 4yrs to when he was much better im afraid and because of that he needs shut of. Sad but true.

The keeping possession is a bit of an urban myth. Dont see us doing any better with him in the side on that count. What we do know is Nasri slows the tempo - and that has been our biggest issue in the past month. The one game where we played ultra-high tempo from the start was Sevilla away. It was a revelation and not sure why the players cant re-produce that.
