Re: Sergio Aguero
I don't believe that there's any truth in any of the rumours so far. We just have to be heartened by the fact that he was at the side of the pitch for a long time - as if there was some possibility of him running it off - then when he was to be subbed, he walked off the pitch and had to go half the way round it, which I don't think would have happened if there was massive concern. My expectation is that it will be a similar injury to Merlin's, and that Sergio will be back in a month or so.
His tears I hope were just because of disappointment at being in such fantastic form and fitness after 12 months of struggle, then this happens. I hope it isn't a recurrence, because that would be a major worry for such an explosive player.
Fingers crossed. On form, there is no one I would rather watch - and that includes Merlin. He is the best City striker I have ever seen - and possibly the best City player I have ever seen (Nearly 50 years of watching), so I dearly hope that he's back soon and has a good run of fitness.
