He is but the hatchet men can't get near him much of the time and sometimes resort to hunting in packs.
Don't forget Bartley doing him twice vs Swansea.

Silva also is a prime target for cloggers.

Players from all teams get injured in tackles week in week out. We do not suffer any more or any less than any other team. We do not give out any more or any less than other team. On average I mean. Some teams take a more physical approach, but really we are one of them - see how we dealt with Costa.

Aguero is not singled out any more than other star players in the league.

oh yes he is.

Of course he is. The best player in the Premiership by some distance at the moment so of course he gets the most physical stick. In recent games, teams have made a big effort to get into him from very early on in the games. Particularly obvious in the Everton and Swansea home games.

So you don't think teams target a world class player especially one that is very injury prone? Don't be so naive.

As always there is some sort of evidence of this I presume? And by evidence I don't mean random recollections of stand alone fouls in particular games, but actual statistical data - eg number of yellow cards awarded for fouls against a selection of 'star' players compared to, and including, Aguero, or number of fouls made against Aguero compared to similar players, or number of fouls made against Aguero compared to other star players that resulted in injury and/or substitution etc etc.

Not sure how compelling a case you could construct given that nearly all Sergio's injuries at City have been soft muscle pulls and strains rather than contact based ones. If, as is being suggested, he's being hacked more routinely than other star players, I would submit the hackers aren't doing a very good job of it...........

As soon as Aguero got the ball against Everton a concerted number of Everton players descended upon him instantly and fouled him. If that is normal practice in a premier league football game I have never witnessed it before.

I want to see us play in the Etihad, not the fookin Octagon. Rediculous to suggest we should lower our standards and join in the kickin shit out of each other. I also think City would not want us to act that way
If this trend continues then sooner or later you will only see Sunday rec type of player at the Etihad.
I am not saying to stoop our standards but to stand up when in need . Mou ,Red nose and Arse Wanker would be fuming by now demanding more protection to their star players.
How many top class players play in England as of now? Handful and majority play for us.
Recently Neymar made a comment regarding snubbing us was due to us failing to meet his demand to provide him with special boots to play in muddy pitch. What he meant was there are too many hackers in premiere league .

You know this as fact or just supposition which happens to support yor argument.
Just reading in between the lines...no brainier at all.

"""They believed that his request for boots that were designed specifically for English mud just emphasised his desire to move to Spain rather than England. City bosses were left stunned when Neymar told them that he would not be able to play in the British weather wearing traditional footwear.""
