As a City fan I love the fact that he has stayed at the club (granted he does stick with us until 2019) and we've not lost him to a European elite club!

As a football fan if Aguero doesn't win the CL by 2019 then it would be criminal and I'd feel as though we have robbed him of that achievement!

He could always go to Liverpool and win it,as going off some threads they could be winning everything for the foreseeable future.. ;-)

Seems like good news to me, sounds like he's happy to stay with us for his best years and willing to see out his contract, then leave before he is too far on the decline. Saves us having that awkward period of having a club legend playing down to his name rather than current form like we're seeing/have seen with other players.

We have to win the champs league in 4 years....I can't accept a player of agueros ability not winning it by the time he retired

Absolutely no chance he will go back to argentina at 31

edit - on second thoughts, I suppose tevez has at 31? Still seems less likely that Aguero would. People have been saying aguero will be leaving as soon as he's got here but he'll have been here 5 years by the end of the season. Just see how it pans out I'm not particularly worried about him leaving and if he does I'm still not worried at this stage
What a ridiculous statement to open with. You're jumping to that conclusion in reaction to something that Aguero himself has apparently said. As City fans, we have first hand experience of this happening.

We couldn't have asked for any more than he's committed to this football club since he came and going forward through that statement. He could have given the usual vague platitudes about "you never know in football", but instead he's given a precise timeline. I've said it before, but we really struck gold with him and David.
