Again, it was becoming increasingly obvious that Newcastle were putting in "late" challenges (Example: Collocini's tackle from behind on Silva) and that if we didn't take Kun and Silva off—and turn the tempo down—we were going to see someone get injured.

You are being unfair to Pellegrini in the extreme.

Aguero went off down the tunnel from the bench well before the end of the game and looked to be feeling a twinge, so looks a good decision.

I'm fucking delighted for Sergio now he has found his shooting boots. I fucking love watching him play and it's been painful to see him missing stuff he normally puts away.
