I would add to that BP that we have had so many ex players that never gave a fuck about the club, that slag us off at every opportunity, the likes of Quinn, Mills, Mcmanaman, and yet we have a class player of brilliant character, who loves the clubs, the fans, the city, who speaks eloquently, and yet he still gets slagged by know nowts on here to the effect that he only gives s fuck about Belgium. He is a proud Blue and s proud Belgian, and anything to the contrary I find staggering. So proud he is such a big part of our club and such a wonderful ambassador for Manchester City

I really start to doubt that our medical staff know how to deal with this, it's the lack of meaningful information that is so frustrating. Surely to god it's as simple as finding the best specialist in the world and having a proper diagnosis and treatment plan. If that takes a year for Vinnie to fully recover then so be it. At least everyone knows instead of this drip drip bullshit. Otamendi and mangler it is then.

Can only presume he's had a further setback, because he was involved with training after the Boxing Day injury and it was thought he was nearing a return.

If they don't even know what's wrong after 2 weeks, then I'm guessing the signs aren't good that we'll see much before February. Obviously it would be crazy to write him off, but it would be equally crazy given the number of games we could potentially have in the next 4 months if we don't act now and bring in a CB this window, even if its just cover and not necessarily a long term prospect. I'd be amazed if they don't.
