It would be nice if it was just to curb expectations a bit and he was back ready for the CL. Even with Denayer (hopefully) returning, are we looking at buying 2 more CB's this summer?

Unless they want to send him back to us thats not an option. Fucking idiotic sending him away in the first place. Guess we could try and loan a defender in the Jan window.
 
Perhaps everyone should wait on further news as Pellegrini has occasionally stumbled with his English in press conferences (Aguero can't walk/ can't work) and no one knows what he means by the last part if the season.

Fuckin hell! Wonder what Denayer is thinking watching us play Demichelis and hoping no other CB gets hurt.
 
A lot of posters were slating those who were suggesting Kompany is done but the sad prediction is becoming a reality. When a player of his age starts being sidelined more than playing then his days as a top player are over I'm afraid.

He's a club legend and our captain but as a club we need to make contingency plans in the summer!
 
That should be the final news/straw with regard to our CB issues. Go sign someone who's better than MDM and it'll be ok. Doesnt need to be a big name, just someone who has a high workrate and pace. Sort it all out this summer, but we need a band-aid for a few months.
