Two nil up away from home with 5 minutes to go and what does Vinny do? Calmly brings the ball down under pressure in the 18 yard box then goes on a Messi style run half way up the pitch looking for a goal.

Its great to see both Kompany and Mangala start the season so strongly. Also the added competition from Otamendi will make it even that bit more harder for either to get back into the team if they get left out healthy competition is always great to have. I think this Kompany we are seeing has a point to prove that he is the best defender and he can become the best defender in world football he is that talented. His clearance off the line yesterday was just brilliant in the right place at the right time.
