Good stuff from the only man since Tony Book who deserves the name "Skip". Nice to see a Mancunian twang working it's scally way into his otherwise cultured Euro accent. No doubt the work of the lovely Carla.

MUEN reporting that Vinny missed out on a training session with Belgium because of a 'minor' injury and in the same article making mention of the fact that 'he appeared to feel a twinge in his troublesome right calf area' early on against Villa ( not heard this before).
If Vinny has a minor injury no way should he play in the international friendlies.

Vincent Kompany today missed the first training session held by Belgium, apparently because of an injury.
The Blues skipper was absent when the Red Devils convened ahead of friendly matches against Italy and Spain – and reporters on the spot said he stayed inside for treatment.
It is not thought to be a major issue, but is bound to raise concerns after Kompany's participation in his country's Euro qualifiers during the last international break erupted into a club versus country spat.
