Some of us never doubted it.

Well if all that's being posted on here now is true, then this is another transfer that is going tits up.
From our initial interest early January I thought this was a done deal and that our backroom boys had pulled off a coup and got our business completed early in the window. How wrong was that! Do we ever learn?

Welcome to City Wilfried, depsite the complete incompetence of the people who sorted it.
To be fair it is the 14th and the window opened on the 3rd(?).

Just what have they been doing for the last 11 days? Barca boys out!!!

Re: Bony signs - official

Bit of a confusing few hours it seems. Ivory Coast FA tweets it's a done deal. Swansea react it's not and when it is, they will anounce it, not the Ivory Coast FA (and rightly so I must say), and now this tweet by City and the player holding up the number 14 top. So I reckon the deal is finalized and if it's not I reckon it'll be very soon.
Whatever, a big welcome to Bony. I hope he will turn out to be a hell of a striker for us and is able to form a good partnership with whoever plays upfront with him. It's up to the player to show his worth and to the manager to try and get the best out of him.

Bony comes in to fill the space Negredo left. With Pellegrini always wanting to have at least two players for every position, I can't see Dzeko or Jovetic going somewhere else before the next window opens. And I would be keen to hold on to all 4 players. The last few months clearly indicated we seems to be too fragile with 3. Normally 3 would do, but history shows otherwise.

And maybe, maybe we get to see our coreplayers playing together for a streak of games.

Interesting to see how this one pans out to be honest, this could either be a masterstroke or a complete disaster, exciting though, to say the least.

Eh? Complete disaster signing a top quality striker with excellent technical ability, superb strength on the ball, and a magnificent eye for goal? I fail to see how.

I'm delighted with this signing, been grooming him since he was 6 years old.

Someone tell the authorities Stuart Hall's gained access to the internet again.

Fixed it for him...
