I could have done a better job. I would also only charge £10 per hour = £8.26 in wages compared to Bony's £250,000 'earned' so far.

Why did we buy Bony if not to play him against Barcelona, and in the Premiership matches.

Now it's almost March and he has yet to start a game for us.

Maybe just a coincidence that we had our worst run of results in 4 years after this signing and I am wondering how much is coincidence and how much cause and effect. I can't imagine it did much for the morale of Jovetic and Dzeko who were key players whilst Aguero was recovering from injury.

We knew the fixture list and the timing of the BArcelona game. Perhaps this is a signing that should have been done in the Summer.

I'm actually starting to wonder whether you're a WUM installed by one of the Mods

Surely no real person can come out with the stuff that you come out with

Some of the MODs are incredible. Kompany cost us the title from one yesterday and now this! Wow, seriously wow!

Kompany has been a shadow of the player he was, and he's not the only one

And the point about Bony is correct. We have bought him, but are we going to play him? Bony's signing spells the end of Jovetic but it has brought us nothing because we haven't played him.

Bloody hell Marvin stop being so negative mate!

Okay very early indications aren't great but as you say he hasn't actually started a match yet so lets give him a bit of time.

I would disagree about him not giving us anything. If nothing else he has given Dzeko a kick up the arse and got him playing
in the same way Negredo did last season. If the players on the bench push the players on the pitch they are making a contribution.

Question I asked when we signed him why spend £25M on a Striker that we couldn't realistically play until Mid Feb. Was this the signing that was going to push us on to win the Premier League or even the Champions League. A lot of people made themselves believe that this player was the Answer to all our problems and bizarrely got blinded by all the hype of what a good player he is. Did we really need to throw £25M on this player when we could have saved that money until the summer and buy a world class Player instead of another Good player. Is he any better than Jovetic when he came off the bench.

Our best and most creative Players are Aguero, Silva, Nasri and Toure build a team and a formation around these players make it so they play to their strengths which means we would have to play a 4-2-3-1 formation which means there is and would be no room for Bony.

All those that don't want to be proved wrong will be throwing the usual crap about give the lad a chance he hasn't started a game yet and you may well have a fair point. Though just sit back and think was Bony really the signing we desperately needed at the time and if so where does he fit in when an open minded European manager eventually takes over who refuses to play the archaic 4-4-2. We spent £25M on a player to accommodate a manager with 1 formation.

Completely agree with this. If you have 4 strikers you have to play 442 or with 2 strikers anyway because atleast 1 striker wouldn't get game time at all.

Not saying Bony is not good player but was he really the signing we needed? I would have saved the £25M on a position which needs addressing more, like midfield in the summer.

I still haven't got this obsession having 4 strikers. Its baffling me.

Yes, we had an inability to play our preferred 4-4-2 system in most games because Dzeko had no replacement after Negredo left. Due to this we needed a striker who could come in and play alongside Aguero, which would allow us to switch back to how we wanted to play and how we played all last year when we won the title.

Wilfried Bony fit that mold and was one of the top scorers in the Premier League at the time. In addition to this experience in English football, he was relatively cheap comparatively and he already had friends here in Yaya Toure which might make him a little happier.

He is been criticised by people on Bluemoon and he literally hasn't started a game for us yet. This is what's wrong with this place for the record.

That's a very expensive kick up the arse.
Like on other threads of shit recent signings What do people expect from Bony?, Not suprised by Bonys performances when introduced as he's quite limited as a player he's not going to make clever passes or take on a few players he's not quick either or technically gifted, he's just someone with a big arse that scored a few goals at Swansea and just another poor recruitment to add to the growing list by Txixi.
