He was good yesterday in my opinion. Sublime pass to Sterling and took his second goal really well. Hopefully will show what he can do with a run of games.

Much better from Bony yesterday. You could see him growing in confidence as the match progressed. His hold up play was impressive and the two goals will do him the world of good.

Unsurprising that he struggled at the start of the season now that news of his malaria has emerged. Hopefully we'll see the best of him now that he will get a run of games.

Not substantial mate, just pathetic. OK you don't like him but your now criticising him for being in the right place at the right time. Beggars belief

And if you watch his movement and the defenders' (lack of it), you see that he didn't just get lucky. His movement on his second goal was excellent too. He's an intelligent player.

Agreed. It seems like one or two on here like to go through the initiation process of calling out all our new starts irrespective of how they perform. They must all be fat knackers now though through all that humble pie they keep having to eat.

MOTD never give us any credit and they singled him out for his brilliant performance. Everyone is entitled to an opinion of course, but yours is shit.

I never watch motd.

Funny however as most of the time people on here are hugely critical of any analysis that goes on that programme bit when suddenly it fits a need its correct.

I actually have said i think his performances have improved but there is a long way to go before he is playing at a level that warrants a place on the starting 11. Maybe his performances over the next few weeks will change my mind....i hope they do as i thought when we bought him he would be great

i live by the sea , and it costs me close to £100 a game , and i get to most home matches , its not the cost , its what your prepared to give up , to watch your football club , perhaps making a financial sacrifice and attending the occasional match would enrich your apparent life of bliss.

Well it costs me over 175 to get back from where i am unless i book in advance which is impossible as i never kjow what time i can get to the ststion. Plus id have to get every friday off work for a saturday mstch (which aint happening) as o couldny make it back in time for a mstch if i left ssturday morning.

I seem to remember when i joined this forum that there were a few people on ot then who use to use the idea that if u went to more games then your opnion was more valid than others....seems like we are regressing back to that again.

I don't look at other club's forums so I have no idea if they whinge about how the media treats their team and then give so much grief out to their own players and management.

The rush to judge new players and often write them off quickly when they have been selected for purchase by a highly qualified set of people is kind of amusing.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and some are even interesting but none of us - as far as I can tell - on this forum are anything other than rank amateurs, when it comes to football.

Give it a rest, he's a quality striker. He was written off before he ever got a run of games, I think the most games he played in a row is about three. He will prove to be an important player for us, I've got no doubt about that.
I only replied as whoever it was said my criticism of hom wasnt substatial.....so i expanded on it so to reply
