I want to see him get a bit more physical with defenders. He's built like a brick shithouse, it would be nice if he steamrolled a few rags next week.

I think he deserves some credit for his first goal as well. He was 'sniffing' and then did really well to get the ball from under his feet and into the back of the net.

And his through ball to Kelechi wasn't bad either - well weighted, pity the lineman was a dick as the youngster finished with the calmness of a seasoned pro.

Scored his two goals, showed a few great touches & good passes, and moved around more. Still more improving to do but going off of yesterday and his cameo vs Newcastle, he's getting there.

His passing was Silvaesque sometimes. Its not been appreciated as much as we din't score on them except once. That thread ball to Sterling was something only Silva would do. I think he had an amazing game and Sterlings performance was totally based on what Bony was doing.

Best I've seen from him, glad to see him get a run in the team, we'll need his bulldozer skills against a solid looking Manure team.

he wasted at least one golden chance when 10- 12 yds out which most strikers most of the time would score.

Literally all strikers miss very good chances no matter how good they are. I know Aguero is in a completely different league from Bony but the fact is Aguero misses plenty of great chances but people rarely have a pop, they sensibly understand that it is part and parcel of the role. He's missed much easier chances than that Bony chance this season.

Ok here is something a bit more substantial.

His work rate is average....he rarely closrd down the defenders all game. His first touch is erratic and his hold up play is his big strength at tge moment.

His firsy goal was purely down to a gk erroelr and he wouldnt have got anywhere near it if that hadnt happened. His secong goal gives me hope that he can improve cause he needs to and his celebration which was one of relief i think echoed that. His passing was at times good ( yje through ball to sterling) but equally at times poor and he wasted at least one golden chance when 10- 12 yds out which most strikers most of the time would score.

Give it a rest, he's a quality striker. He was written off before he ever got a run of games, I think the most games he played in a row is about three. He will prove to be an important player for us, I've got no doubt about that.

You pay my 175 quid teain fare and get me every friday off work and ill gladly come to the home games.

And as for miserable...hahaha...u left manchester so to not havevto put up with the negative shit in that place every time you walk down thecstreet. I live by the sea and get to be by the beach nearly every day. I love my job and my life so sorry to disappoint you but i have a very happy life indeed
Glad to hear it... You can't tell ;-)

His reaction to his second goal spoke volumes. The wave of relief flowing through him was very evident. I think this was a sign that he had been feeling the pressure to prove himself.

I confess I haven't been his biggest fan, but I thought his work rate yesterday was excellent. Apart from the goals he was up and down the pitch and looking for the ball. As others have said he displayed a fine touch with some of his passes.

This coming week he will play a key part in two vital games. I get the feeling he is coming good at the right time and we as fans need to get behind him 100%. So if you are sitting near one of those 'fans' who are on his back during the game, you have my permission to none to politely tell them to shut their mouth!

Not substantial mate, just pathetic. OK you don't like him but your now criticising him for being in the right place at the right time. Beggars belief
